an unfulfilled niche. There were no professional business brokers in the
north Georgia area that could properly represent Georgia business buyers
and sellers, so Tanner set about to make sure he had all the skills and
education necessary to get the job done in an honest, ethical, efficient,
and professional manner.
Tanner’s background in corporate management and sales, as well
as his experience as an entrepreneur, gave him a solid foundation to work
as a Georgia business broker. Besides real life experience, Tanner uses
his professionalism and demonstrated performance to exceed client expectations.
Evolving Education of Business Brokers
Tanner’s education played a large role when he became a Georgia
business broker, and continues to do so today. In addition to his management
degree, Tanner is a licensed business broker and holds professional designations
from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and the Georgia
Association of Business Brokers (GABB). He is also a member of the Institute
of Business Appraisers (IBA).
Business is constantly changing, so a Georgia business broker must constantly
change with it. Tanner leads the industry by not only participating in
continuing education business broker classes and seminars, he also has
taught seminars at Gainesville College, for IBBA, IBA, GABB and the Greater
Hall Chamber of Commerce.
